These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of yourtaxbuddy.us (the “Site”), operated by Calldrive, LLC, doing business as Your Tax Buddy (“we,” “us,” “our”). By using the Site, submitting a form, or calling the number listed on the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Description of the Service
Your Tax Buddy operates an intake and referral platform for people dealing with tax issues. We are not a law firm, certified public accounting firm, tax preparation company, or government agency, and we are not affiliated with the Internal Revenue Service or any state department of revenue. We do not provide legal, tax, or financial advice, and nothing on the Site or communicated by a representative should be treated as such advice or as a guarantee of any particular outcome, savings, program eligibility, or timeline. Whether you qualify for any program, and on what terms, is decided solely by the relevant government agency or professional you may be referred to.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, a resident of the United States, and able to form a binding contract to use the Site. By using the Site, you represent that the information you submit is accurate and that you meet these requirements.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: use the Site for any unlawful purpose; submit false or misleading information; attempt to access non-public areas of the Site; interfere with or disrupt the Site's operation; scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Site by automated means; transmit malware or harmful code; or impersonate any person or entity.
4. No Professional Relationship
Using the Site or speaking with a representative does not create an attorney-client, accountant-client, fiduciary, or similar professional relationship between you and Your Tax Buddy.
5. Referrals to Third Parties
If we refer you to a tax professional, law firm, or other provider, your relationship with that provider is governed entirely by that provider's own terms, privacy policy, and any engagement agreement you enter with them. We do not control, endorse, or guarantee the work of any third party we refer you to, and we are not a party to any agreement between you and that provider.

8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOUR TAX BUDDY AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR ANY REFERRAL MADE THROUGH IT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT, IF ANY, YOU PAID TO US FOR USE OF THE SITE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Your Tax Buddy from any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.
10. Dispute Resolution; Arbitration Agreement; Class Action Waiver
Please read this section carefully — it affects your legal rights.
Except for disputes that qualify for small claims court, you and Your Tax Buddy agree to resolve any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site through binding, individual arbitration administered by a recognized arbitration provider under its rules then in effect, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual action in small claims court.
Class Action Waiver. Any arbitration or proceeding will be conducted only on an individual basis and not as a class, collective, or representative action, and the arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims.
Right to Opt Out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to the address in Contact Us within thirty (30) days of first accepting these Terms. Your notice must include your name, address, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out of arbitration.
This section will survive termination of these Terms and your use of the Site.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, except that the Federal Arbitration Act governs the arbitration agreement above.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Severability & Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site.
